The cancellation of the annual Perthshire Open Studios will not stop a small group of artists from showcasing their work next month.
A number of creatives have banded together to create a mini art trail around Perth, Crieff and Dunning to make up for the loss of the event due to the coronavirus pandemic.

Artists involved include June McKewan from Willow Works in Crieff, Diana King Jewellery in Perth, Cat Burton Photography artist in Perth and Marion Foster from Askival of Strathearn kilt maker.

John Maguire ceramics will be joining mother and daughter team Lorna and Fiona Radbourne of Catriona Studio in Dunning.
The event will run from September 2-6 and will adhere to social distancing and hygiene guidelines.

Lorna Radbourne said: “All artists are looking forward to welcoming visitors and will be keen to ensure a safe environment.

“We are really looking forward to showing visitors what we have been working on over the last few months.
“The arts are important. They help bring more colour into our new way of life.”
Teen swapped football boots for running shoes to raise money for charity
Visitors will be asked to sanitise hands, wear masks, fill in a track and trace record and maintain social distancing.
