A person was shot dead Thursday in East Garfield Park on the West Side, police say.
The shooting happened about 11:35 a.m. in the 300 block of North Pulaski Road, Chicago police said.
The male was taken to Stroger Hospital and pronounced dead, according to police. His age was not immediately released.
The Cook County medical examiner’s office has not disclosed his name.
Area North detectives are conducting a homicide investigation.
