
A person was shot and killed Wednesday afternoon in Woodlawn on the South Side.
Just after 5 p.m., the male, of an unknown age, was inside a vehicle in the 6300 block of South Rhodes Avenue when he heard shots and felt pain, Chicago police said.
He suffered multiple gunshot wounds to the body and was pronounced dead at the scene, according to police.
The Cook County medical examiner’s office has not yet identified the man.
There is no one in custody, according to police.
