Someone was fatally injured Thursday morning at a construction site in west suburban Aurora, according to police.
The Aurora police and fire departments were called to an industrial accident with critical injuries in the 600 block of McClure Road, Aurora police said in a statement. The person has since been pronounced dead.
Police with BNSF would be leading a death investigation, police said.
The U.S. Dept. of Labor’s Occupational Health and Safety Administration was responding to the scene, a spokesperson for OSHA said.
