Perrie Edwards embarks on new business venture named after her son after Little Mix hiatus

Perrie Edwards had embarked on a new business venture named after her son.

The Little Mix star is swapping music for property to keep her busy after the girl band went on an indefinite hiatus earlier this year.

The 29-year-old has set up a property business called Paxel Properties which is inspired by her son, Axel, 14 months.

It's thought that the mum-of-one could be set to make a lot of money through the business move, with insiders saying it could be a lucrative business for the star who is very savvy and has already an estimated £18million net worth.

An source told The Sun : "Perrie is no stranger to hard graft and she loves to be busy. She is business savvy and created the property business earlier this year.

"The company allows her to flip properties and sell them for a profit, which can be a lucrative business. There is a lot of money in property and Perrie really has her head screwed on."

But Perrie is dropping the microphone just yet, previously teasing on Instagram shots from the recording studio.

And the singer isn't the only person related to Little Mix who has got into the property game.

Her bandmate Leigh-Anne's fiancé, footballer Andre Grey, is also involved in the business as he started his company G&A Organisations Ltd this year, to purchase old houses and flip them.

Leigh-Anne has apparently been helping him with the interior decorating side of things.

Perrie has already created another business of her own this year, launching her own clothing brand called Disora.

The news comes after it was revealed that Perrie and her footballer fiancé Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain were victims of a terrifying burglary while at home with their baby.

A group smashed into the £3.5m Cheshire mansion this week while the pair, who have a baby son, were at home, and stole jewellery and designer handbags, The Sun reported.

A source said the couple were left 'terrified' and 'heartbroken' following the incident.

A friend said: “It’s just the most violating thing — to think that someone has been all over their belongings before they even realised what was happening is so upsetting. The brazenness of doing it while they were in the house is terrifying, and obviously they’re heartbroken that a lot of valuable items which meant a great deal to them — not just financially — have been taken.

"This is their dream home and they love their life there as a family. Suddenly it feels tarnished, but they’re determined to get on with their lives and obviously they’ll take every necessary step to ensure they are totally secure in the future."

Cheshire Police confirmed officers were called to the burglary that night at 10.45pm.

They said: "The offenders have broken into the home stealing jewellery and handbags while the occupants were inside."
