Perplexity Rolls Out Video Creation with Audio

Perplexity has announced a new video generation feature with audio support, available now for its Pro and Max subscribers on web, iOS, and Android. It now allows Pro users to create up to five videos per month, while Max subscribers can produce up to fifteen, complete with higher-quality output and increased rate limits over time.

Just like any other video generation tool, it allows you to transform prompts into short, AI-generated videos. However, to use the feature on your phone, you will have to update the Perplexity app.

However, this is not the only update from Perplexity. Recently, the company rolled out Claude 4.1 Opus Thinking for Max subscribers, adding to its line-up of premium models such as GPT-4.1, Claude 4.0 Sonnet, Gemini 2.5 Pro, and Grok 4. It brings deeper reasoning and more accurate instruction-following to complex queries, further strengthening the service’s premium offering.

Along with the new updates, the company is also working on a new “Study Mode” feature. Recently, details about this upcoming feature were spotted on the internet, revealing a dedicated button and a tailored query flow for educational use. While details remain limited, Study Mode is expected to roll out in September. OpenAI has also launched its Study Mode, and I expect Perplexity’s new feature to work on similar lines.

That’s all about Perplexity for now. But if you are interested in getting all the latest tech and AI updates, then join us on WhatsApp.
