Perisic handed new role, Richarlison benched - Tottenham lineups Conte should pick vs Leicester

Antonio Conte's Tottenham team need to bounce back with a win on Saturday evening when they return to Premier League action against Leicester City. In action on Tuesday against Sporting CP in the Champions League, Spurs lost 2-0 courtesy of two stoppage-time goals.

The Lilywhites' luck finally ran out after previously not always performing at the top of their game but managing to remain unbeaten. As well as requiring three points to keep their place towards the top of the league table, a 90-minute performance is required ahead of the international break.

Conte will be expected to make a few alterations to his team at the weekend, with players such as Dejan Kulusevski, Yves Bissouma and Matt Doherty potential incomings. So who would our Tottenham reporters select in their XI against the Foxes? You can find out right below.

It's time for some players to get their chance after a disappointing display in midweek in Lisbon and Conte admitted that he will make changes.

The Italian admitted that Ryan Sessegnon and Dejan Kulusevski deserve to play and he also made it clear that Ivan Perisic could play on the right if needed, which might see Emerson Royal handed a rest.

The way Conte was speaking about Yves Bissouma suggests the new midfielder might not get the nod just yet and the same seemed the case with Oliver Skipp.

In defence, Clement Lenglet could come back in and Conte will have to decide whether to bring Davinson Sanchez back in for some fresh legs on the right if Cristian Romero is deemed to be tired following his injury.

Kulusevski's return could see either Son Heung-min or Richarlison taken out of the side if the Swede does not go in at right wing-back.

Gold's team: Lloris; Romero, Dier, Lenglet; Perisic, Bentancur, Hojbjerg, Sessegnon; Kulusevski, Kane, Son.

Antonio Conte certainly needs to freshen up his Tottenham team following Tuesday's performance out in Lisbon. Introducing fresh faces is a must as the boss has only opted to make one change in the past couple of games.

Dejan Kulusevski must be reinstated as he makes the team tick and creativity has been a major issue since his absence from the starting XI. The reintroduction of the Swede should see Son Heung-min drop down the bench in the process as he could do with a breather due to his current struggles.

Elsewhere, Yves Bissouma could help Spurs solve their midfield issue as their failure to get the ball forward with purpose was clear to see against Sporting CP, although Conte's comments in his press conference seem to indicate that fans might have to wait a little while longer to see the Mali international. Matt Doherty should come into the XI as Emerson Royal has been an ever-present in the team this campaign and the boss needs to rotate to ensure a number of his squad are given minutes, with Clement Lenglet someone else who could come back in.

Guest's team: Lloris; Romero, Dier, Lenglet; Doherty, Bissouma, Hojbjerg, Perisic; Kulusevski, Kane, Richarlison
