This formula was an instant hit, with seasons 1 and 2 of Perfect Match taking over the internet with their respective drama-filled episodes.
Now, every time a Netflix reality show ends its season—such as Love Is Blind season 8 earlier this year—fans immediately start placing bets on which cast members are most likely to end up on Perfect Match (*cough* Madison and Molly *cough*), and when the tropical dating competition will make its return. With the upcoming season, Netflix has even given Perfect Match fans an early treat in a surprising move: the first confirmed couple was announced months ahead.

Has 'Perfect Match' been renewed for a third season?
In an announcement that shocked nobody, Netflix revealed on June 27, 2024, that Perfect Match would return for a third round of drama-filled episodes. The season 3 renewal came less than a week after season 2's eventful finale, as Netflix put out a call for a new batch of "single Netflix Reality Universe (NRU) stars."
When do the new episodes of 'Perfect Match' season 3 come out?
Netflix has confirmed that Perfect Match season 3 will begin on August 1, giving reality fans a week or so to collect themselves after Love Island USA season 7. The upcoming season, reportedly filmed in the summer of 2024, will air over the following three weeks, ending in the season 3 finale on August 15.

Who is in the 'Perfect Match' season 3 cast?
After months of speculation, Netflix has confirmed that the Perfect Match season 3 cast will include several stars from outside of the Netflix Reality Universe. The streamer revealed the official cast on June 25, 2025, which includes a steady mix of new faces and memorable Netflix stars.
Some standouts from the NRU include Madison and Freddie from Love is Blind (U.S. and U.K., respectively); temptress Alex, Cody, and Olivia from Temptation Island; Louis and Quori-Tyler from Battle Camp; and, in a truly chaotic reunion, Sandy and J.R. from The Ultimatum. Meanwhile, the cast will also include stars like Love Island USA's Justine and Carrington, Siesta Key's Juliette, and even former Bachelor Clayton Echard and former Bachelorette Rachel Recchia.
Back in March 2025, Netflix confirmed that the first members of Perfect Match season 3's cast would be AD Smith from Love Is Blind season 6 and Ollie Sutherland from Love Is Blind U.K. In a beachfront promo clip released during the LIB season 8 reunion, AD and Ollie teased the upcoming season...and got engaged! Then, two months later, the pair announced that they're expecting a baby!
After announcing their casting in season 3, the pair walked further down the beach to a display of white flowers, where Ollie got down on one knee to AD's surprise. "You’re my best friend. You’re the love of my life," he says to AD. "I’ve never felt as happy or as complete as I have since I met you, and nothing would make me happier than to spend the rest of my life loving you." She responded with a teary-eyed but excited, "Yes!"
"When we were on Perfect Match, I noticed that we were having the deeper conversations, the more important conversations, talking about shared values and similar outlooks on life," Ollie said of his and AD's relationship. "I think that really laid the groundwork and the foundation for the beautiful relationship we have now."
Though they kept their relationship private before the surprise proposal (including AD's coy appearance at the LIB season 7 reunion), internet-savvy Netflix fans knew that AD and Ollie had been dating for a while. In October 2024, the Love is Blind alums were spotted having dinner together in Mexico, and, as soon as the news came out, rumors began swirling that they could've met while filming Perfect Match season 3.
