Pep Guardiola makes brilliant Sergio Aguero comment after his latest Man City goals

Sergio Aguero continued his electric start to the Premier League season with a double in Manchester City's 4-0 win over Brighton.

The Argentine now has six goals in four games this season and he's scored with his last seven shots on target in the Premier League, dating back to last season.

Aguero's record tally for City now stands at 237 and the 31-year-old is showing no signs of slowing down in front of goal, with his finishes against the Seagulls both exquisite efforts.

The striker first began scoring goals at senior level for Independiente in Argentina at the age of 16 and Guardiola doesn't expect him to stop while he still has breath in his body.

"Sergio scored goals when he was in Argentina at 16 years. He will die scoring goals. He is a special talent and I love from day one, he tries to do it," Guardiola said of his leading marksman.

"We change many things, but from day one I am delighted about his commitment. Of course we need his goals, everybody knows it but even the days he doesn’t score, with the commitment, he is like this from day one so happy for him. He help us a lot with his goals."

Guardiola felt the 4-0 win against Brighton flattered his side, but he was thankful to the attacking talents at his disposal for making the difference.

Kevin De Bruyne got the ball rolling inside 70 seconds and after Aguero's double Bernardo Silva completed the win just seconds after coming off the bench.

"The game was tough, if we analyse the result was 4-0 but the performance not because they did really well," Guardiola said.

"Few teams come here to play with this courage. The difference, my players up front are incredibly good and they make the difference. For football, managers like Graham [Potter] are good for football."
