People are obsessed by adorable dog that looks like 'Yoda and Dobby had a baby'

Meet the unique dog with pointy ears and big eyes that looks like "Yoda and Dobby had a baby".

Mork Skywalker has become a social media sensation thanks to his uncanny likeness to The Mandalorian character and ability to instantly brighten everyone’s day.

Mork was rescued from China’s meat trade two years ago by rescue shelter Road Dogs & Rescue , and now his adopted owner posts his new life in Los Angeles online.

His Instagram mission is to “bring smiles and promote love” through funny videos and adorable photos.

Despite not having Yoda’s trademark green tint, fans are obsessed with his Baby Yoda resemblance.

The unique-looking dog has racked up more than 3.5M likes on TikTok , with one fan commenting on his recent video: “It’s like Yoda and Dobby had a baby!”

Another person agreed: “Clearly that is a house elf.”

A third said: "That's not a puppy that's Dobby, oh my he's gorgeous."

Other people have compared him to an "alien" and "elf".

Mork has his own range of merchandise to raise money for rescue centres (@morkskywalker/Instagram)

Mork has features that are similar to those of a bulldog or pug, but his exact genetics are unknown as his owner doesn't want anyone trying to replicate his breed.

On his Instagram, his owner explains that Mork has lots of health issues and struggles to breathe.

This doesn't stop everyone trying to guess his crossbreed though - his TikTok comments are flooded with speculation.

"Honestly though what is that," one person said.

The giving pup raises money for Road Dogs & Rescue by selling merchandise on his website , and has his own range of galaxy socks , teddies, hoodies and tote bags.

Fans can even request a personalised recorded message from Mork.

On his social media, you’ll spot Mork making friends with disabled dogs, attending fundraising days and entertaining his Baby Yoda comparisons with fun Star Wars costumes.
