A man found dead at his Scots home this week is believed to be a convicted sex offender.
Emergency services attended Talisman Avenue in Dumbarton on Wednesday afternoon and found the body of a 65-year-old man.
The man found by officers is thought to be convicted sex offender Kenneth Thomson, who was recently put on the register after admitting sending explicit images of himself to a decoy.
It is reported he believed to be a 14-year-old girl.
Police confirmed the death is not being treated as suspicious and a report will be sent to the procurator fiscal.
A spokesperson for Police Scotland said: “A 65-year-old man was found dead within his house in Talisman Avenue, Dumbarton on the afternoon of Wednesday, 12 August.
"The death is not being treated as suspicious and a full report will be forwarded to the Procurator Fiscal.”
