Left in the competition in the final eight are Price, Mervyn King, Nathan Aspinall, Adrian Lewis, Peter Wright, Dave Chisnall, Welshman Jonny Clayton and James Wade.
Five-time tournament winner Michael van Gerwen is out after being knocked about by Clayton in the previous round.
