Punjab Kings spent most of their money on all-rounders in the IPl 2024 Auction held for the first time in Dubai on Tuesday. India all-rounder Harshal Patel, who was with RCB, was the most expensive Indian buy in the auction with Punjab spending Rs 11.75 crore on him.
Punjab then paid hefty sums of Rs 8 crore and Rs 4.2 crore to get the services of South African batter Rilee Rossouw and England all-rounder Chris Woakes respectively.
Apart from the three big money buys, Punjab bought five uncapped Indian players.
