Payment gateway glitches delay release of Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanams darshan tickets

TIRUPATI: Payment gateway glitches on Wednesday delayed the release of Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanams (TTD) special entry darshan tickets for March and the last week of February causing inconvenience to the devotees.

The problem, was however, rectified later.

The TTD's IT department sweated it out and could finally manage to release the quota for March.

The quota related to Rs 300 special entry darshan tickets.

Once the technical issue was solved, the online booking went on smoothly.

The temple board, which is lifting Covid-19 curbs in a phased manner, released 25,000 special darshan tickets a day for March for the devotees to book through the online mode.
