Juventus insist Paulo Dybala is not for sale this summer.
The Argentine international, this week named in his country’s Copa America squad, has been linked with a move away from the Italian champions after an indifferent season.
Having bagged 26 times in 2017-18, Dybala struggled alongside Cristiano Ronaldo this term, scoring on just 10 occasions in all competitions.
Often asked to play either as the focal point of attack or in a wide role on the right wing, Dybala ended the season outside of Max Allegri’s preferred first XI.
That led to suggestions from numerous quarters that Dybala could be set to leave, amid Premier League and La Liga interest, plus links to an £85million switch to Manchester United.
But sporting director Fabio Paratici has insisted that Dybala won’t be going anywhere this summer - regardless of the club’s next manager.
Paratici said: “He is one of our players, we have great confidence in him.
"The investment we made four years ago and the renewal of the contract is proof of this.
“Dybala is a Juventus player, a very important player for us.”
Paratici’s claims come after the player’s brother, Gustavo, stated that the 25-year-old is keen to leave Turin this summer.
"Yes, there is a good chance he’ll leave Juventus," he said. "Absolutely. He needs a change.”
However, scorn was soon poured on those claims by Dybala himself, with the Bianconeri No.10 outlining his desire to stay at the Allianz Stadium.
"My brother's statements? He spoke for himself.
"I spoke to the club and [sporting director] Fabio Paratici and they know what I think.
"I want to stay at Juventus again next year, I want to continue playing here.
"It is obvious that Juventus must make their choices, also based on the new manager that will arrive. However, I want to stay here."
