Paul Pogba shows his class with surprise visit to cancer-stricken youngster

Manchester United midfielder Paul Pogba showed his class on Tuesday by visiting a cancer-stricken youngster who is fighting the illness for a second time.

Jack Morgan, whose brother Sam is a personal shopper to famous footballers and celebrities, is currently undergoing chemotherapy to overcome the disease.

Pogba is understood to have met Jack previously through his brother, who is Pogba’s go-to luxury clothes dealer and also provides him with rare designer trainers.

Sam, now friends with the former Juventus playmaker, revealed that he received a text from Pogba out of the blue on Monday with the Frenchman checking up on his brother’s progress.

And the World Cup winner, who was part of the United squad who drew 1-1 at Huddersfield on Sunday, then opted to make the trip down to London to give a surprise visit to the youngster in hospital.

It was quite evidently a much-needed boost, given the youngster received treatment on the same day and received the news that he’ll return home on Wednesday.

He posted on Instagram : “WOW⁣. What a day! CT scan this morning was good, the drain was a success!

“My tube was removed and I’ll be going home tomorrow morning.⁣

“Following on from this, Paul Pogba came to visit me of his own accord. I’ve met him a few times through my brother.

“He is one of the biggest sports personalities in the world, yet he is also one of the most humble and thoughtful people I’ve ever met.

Fellow footballers Declan Rice and Ryan Fredericks were among those to praise Pogba’s gesture, while the Frenchman himself hailed young Jack as a ‘very strong man’.
