Pau Gasol bought out by Spurs, agrees to join Bucks

Even if the Los Angeles Lakers pull of an upset over the Milwaukee Bucks, the Bucks will have already added some more talent on Friday while the Lakers still remain with an open roster spot.

Former Laker Pau Gasol agreed to a buyout on Friday with the San Antonio Spurs, but he wasn’t a free agent for very long. According to ESPN, Gasol has agreed to a deal with the Bucks.

It doesn’t sound like the Lakers front office were very interested in a reunion with Gasol, but they have been interested in help at the center position over the past few weeks, finishing second in the Enes Kanter sweepstakes.

Of course, the name many are expecting to fill the 15th roster spot is fellow Banana Boat vacation member Carmelo Anthony. However, there are some other veterans available.  Zach Randolph and Marcin Gortat are big names on the market, while the Lakers G League team added NBA veteran Spencer Hawes on Friday.
