Patrice Evra filmed himself singing with a raw fish and bag of chips ahead of England’s Euro 2020 semi final match
(Picture: Twitter/Evra)Manchester United legend Patrice Evra is up to his old tricks again after sharing a characteristically out-there message for the England team ahead of their Euro 2020 semi final match.
In the video posted to his Twitter and Instagram, the former France and Man Utd player can be seen on the backseat of the car, sporting a red England shirt and wearing round sunglasses and an Oasis-style wig – which he wore in a previous video to mock the Gallagher brothers after Manchester’s City’s Champions League final defeat.
He then starts playing Fatboy Slim’s Praise You, but changes the lyrics for the sporting occasion – while using a portion of fish and chips as a microphone (presumably a nod to British culinary classic).

“It’s Monday! Evrasis has been waiting for so long,” he shouts and laughs.
“Last time England won a trophy even the dinosaurs were still alive! So come on chaps, you can do this, come on! The fish is alive, the fish is alive!’
Evra then strokes and kisses the fish before wafting the air and opening the sunroof of his car. He then throws the fish and chips on the floor and asks: “Are you ready for that craziness, that happiness? Oh my God.”
Right on cue, as the beat drops, he then shouts: “Go England, go England, go England; coming home, coming home; fish and chips, fish and chips.”
He then climbs out the sunroof of his car shouting: “I’m out” – but not before reemerging in his car to sign off with infamous catchphrase: “I love this game!”
It appears Evra is lending his support to England ahead of their clash with Denmark, after his home country of France crashed out of the tournament in a shock defeat against Switzerland in the last 16.

England play their Euro 2020 semi final match today against Denmark at Wembley Stadium at 8pm.
If England were to win, they would face Italy in the final on Sunday, who booked their place after defeating Spain 1-1 (4-2 on penalties) yesterday.
