A growing engineering firm has extended the lease on its trading estate building for a further 10 years.
Patera Engineering has been operating from its headquarters on the City Park Trading Estate in Fenton, Stoke-on-Trent, for more than five years.
Now it has committed to another decade at the site after agreeing a deal with site owners Sandyford Properties.
Shaun Lees, managing director at the family-run Patera Engineering, said: “Sandyford Properties has been the third owner of the City Park site in the time that Patera Engineering Ltd has been in occupation.
“When they acquired the site two years ago, we immediately noticed a change in approach, and we have found them accessible and easy to work with. They are based locally and are visible on site. We have built a good relationship with them, both as a owners, but also as a customer of Patera.”
James Lewis, of Sandyford Properties, said: “City Park Trading Estate is a well-established industrial estate in the heart of the city. The new 10-year lease to Patera Engineering shows their commitment to the location and is testament to the service we provide to our customers. City Park Trading Estate was acquired by Sandyford Properties in 2018. The site boasts 16 industrial units – ranging from 1,300 sq ft to 16,000 sq ft – with additional compound space, CCTV, security gate, electronic access, and extensive parking.
