Paris Hilton makes cheeky jibe to This Morning's Josie Gibson as she helps viewer win £1k

Paris Hilton was given a job on ITV's This Morning today before making a cheeky remark at Josie Gibson.

The reality star turned DJ appeared on the ITV show for an interview with Alison Hammond and Dermot O'Leary, but before she could talk about her book, she was given a task by the team at ITV to help Josie with Dosh On Your Doorstep.

Dosh On Your Doorstep involves Josie heading to someone's house in the hope of helping them win £1,000. Today was the turn of Becky from Worcestershire, with her clearly looking stunned as Josie galloped to her do with a inflatable rainbow and Irish dancers.

Paris was in charge of speaking to Becky when they called her with the good news, with the winner was clearly shocked as the heiress said: "Hello it's Paris Hilton here," before asking her to look out her window.

She then said to look out for a "strange" woman running towards her, as Alison pointed out that there was also a giant inflatable rainbow and the troupe of Irish dancers. Becky ran to her door, clearly excited by the prospect of winning the prize.

Later in the interview, Paris explained how she has been "misunderstood and underestimated" all her life.

"I’ve lived such a full and exciting life but I’ve been through so much and it’s just made me such a strong woman today and I write all about it in the book. I think for a long time people have misunderstood and underestimated me, but I can understand playing that character that of course they were going to assume otherwise," she shared.

The former reality star made a cheeky remark about Josie Gibson (ITV)

"But I’m not a dumb blonde, I’m just very good at pretending to be one! After The Simple Life I got stuck [as that character] and everyone assumed that’s who I really was in real life and I’m a naturally shy person so it [was] also kind of a mask for me."

She also insisted her life is completely different now, choosing staying in with her husband and her baby, rather than going out.

Paris explained: "For me, I wasn’t a bad kid, I was just a rebel. Like any teenage girl, I was sneaking out, getting bad grades, I loved to go out… but now that I'm grown up I don’t really enjoy it as much anymore.

"My ideal night now? I love to cook lasagne for my husband and just lay in bed with my baby and cuddle."
