A nursing student has spent £2,400 on plastic surgery since the age of 16, thanks to her parents who footed the bill.
Beverly Guevara, now 22, says her parents have paid for three operations since she was a teenager in a bid to improve her self confidence.
Parents Ligia Pinos, 45, and Orlando Guevara, 50, from New York, US, say they're happy to fund their daughter's surgery and have so far paid for buccal fat removal, a nose job, and a breast enlargement.
The family, who are originally from Ecuador, say there's no doubt they'll pay for more of Beverly's surgeries in the future should she want them.
Beverly, who has also had fat removed in her face, said: "My face was really puffy as I was suffering with a thyroid problem and the medication caused weight gain.
"But after this surgery at 16 I decided that I wanted my nose changing too.
"A small piece of artificial cartilage is inserted into the tip of the nose to lift it up."
Two years later at 18, Beverly went under the knife for the third time for a breast augmentation surgery, which was again paid for by her parents.
Beverly explained: “I always knew I was going to get them done since I was young.
“I have always been insecure about my boobs, I never felt hot or feminine, I felt childlike.
“My mum had her boobs done and always promised me I could have the surgery at 18 if I wanted to.
“I don’t regret getting them done, I just wish I had waited a little longer so I could have researched different surgeons and gained a little bit more weight before.
“The surgeon was a new surgeon, so he didn’t know the best practise for scarring. He has given me quite a large scar for implants that are quite small.
“I went from a AA cup to a C cup.”
Since the final surgery, Beverly has gone on to have filler in her face, which she has funded herself from part time modelling career.
After receiving negative comments on her TikTok account about having surgery at a young age, Beverly has always maintained a positive attitude.
She explains: “It doesn’t bother me what people think about my body and their opinions.
“I am blessed to have parents who support my choices.
“My dad took such good care of me after my operations, and on the run up to the surgeries, he would always make sure I was 100 per cent sure before going through with them.
“I always think I have been pro surgery. If you can fix it, do it.
“My mum always says ‘if they aren’t paying for it, they have no opinion.'"
Beverly has also had three veneers in her front teeth to perfect her smile and has her fourth filler injection booked next month.
She claims: “If I had a baby, I would probably have more surgery to replace the implants in my breasts, but at the moment I don’t want anything major.”
Whilst the couple have received negative comments from family members, claiming Beverly is too young for surgery, her parents have always defended her decision saying they want to make her happy.
