Pamela Anderson has revealed the special gift she gave Liam Neeson on set, as romance rumours continue to swirl the couple in the wake of a (super cute) Instagram hard-launch.
ICYMI, the actors have been at the centre of some pretty intense romantic chatter throughout the ongoing press tour for The Naked Gun, the action comedy they are both starring in set for release later this month.
While neither party has officially confirmed whether they’re an item — instead playing coy on red carpets and in interviews — a source revealed earlier this week that Anderson and Neeson are “smitten” and “enjoying each other’s company”.
Pessimists might think the whole thing has the faint whiff of a PR romance to drum up attention for The Naked Gun (if so — it worked!), but Anderson only amplified the chatter by devoting an entire Instagram carousel to her co-star earlier today.
“The Naked Gun is finally in theatres! Bring your friends, family, lovers… whoever… just go and have a laugh… it’s good for you!,” Anderson wrote alongside images of herself and Neeson snacking on some popcorn.
Smuggled further in the dump is a far more intimate snap of Neeson taking a picture of Anderson (woah! Inception!), as well as the black-and-white end result of their photoshoot.
I’m not saying anything, but it’s maybe not the behaviour of two ‘friendly’ co-workers.
If all that wasn’t enough, Anderson has also revealed that, while working on the film with her maybe-maybe-not boyfriend, she would gift him an array of homemade baked goods.
You know, typical friend stuff!
“I brought sourdough bread to Liam and cookies and muffins and it kept me busy. Kept me outta trouble… It’s a very special recipe. It’s very good for you. Let’s just say that,” Anderson said during a SiriusXM Town Hall event on Friday, per The Daily Mail.
Delicious? Yes. Hallmark of a budding romance? Also yes!
While we’ll have to let cupid do his thing before either of them confirm or deny the relationship, it would nonetheless add to the couple’s string of starry romances over the years.
For her part, Anderson was infamously married to rock star Tommy Lee back in the 90s, while Neeson has dated Helen Mirren and Natasha Richardson.
For what it’s worth, friends of Richardson are reportedly chuffed with the idea of Neeson and Anderson (couple name: Lamela), and if it’s good enough for the ex’s friends, it’s good enough for me.
