Pamela Anderson breaks silence on claim With Love, Meghan 'ripped off' her cooking show

Pamela Anderson has finally broken her silence on whether she thinks Meghan Markle copied her cooking show.

The acting icon, 58, was asked on Watch What Happens Live if she thought the Duchess of Sussex had taken inspiration for With Love, Meghan from her series Pamela’s Cooking with Love.

Host Andy Cohen asked: “On a scale from one to 10, how much of a rip-off did you feel like With Love, Meghan was of your show, Pamela's Cooking with Love?”

Pamela was appearing on the show alongside her The Naked Gun co-star, and new boyfriend, Liam Neeson - and she was quick to pour water on the claims Meghan copied her.

“One,” Pamela replied. “I didn't - I didn't really look, but I mean, I didn't invent cooking shows.” She then added Meghan “is just doing her thing.”

Pamela’s Cooking with Love was commissioned in 2023, with Meghan’s With Love hitting Netflix earlier this year - both shows have celebrity guests, and the hosts book cook in beautiful kitchens, and are seen carrying fruit and vegetables in wicker baskets.

It’s not the first time someone from the show has responded to online criticism, Jesse Fawcett, co-creator, co-writer and executive producer of Pamela’s series, previously told the Mail: “We take pride in planting the first seeds – creating original, distinctive programming that audiences love – and it’s a compliment to see our work with Ms Anderson resonate so strongly.”

Earlier this week, Liam Neeson’s son and former sister-in-law shared their support for his budding romance with Pamela.

The Taken star, 73, and Baywatch icon met as co-stars on the set of their new action comedy, The Naked Gun, and their chemistry blossomed off-screen.

Anderson shared a series of snaps of the duo posing playfully in a photoshoot on Instagram and encouraged fans to take their “friends, family, lovers” to see Naked Gun.

The sweet photos prompted Liam’s son Daniel Jack Neeson, 29, to comment with a string of emojis, including two hands raised in celebration, two fires, two white hearts, and a water pistol.

Joely Richardson - the sister of Neeson’s late wife Natasha Richardson who died aged 45 in a 2009 skiing accident - also appeared to celebrate the couple.

The British actress, 60, commented with seven red heart emojis.
