Palestinian amputees get another shot at football

A new project in Gaza is giving hope to Palestinian amputees who want to continue playing football.

Over the past year, 136 people have lost limbs after being wounded in border violence, largely from shootings by Israeli forces, according to Gaza’s Ministry of Health.

This unique programme, organised by the International Committee of the Red Cross, is giving some Palestinians another shot at the sport.
