Police are warning South Siders after a couple of robberies were reported last month in Back of the Yards.
In both cases, a group of men approached someone and demanded property or took it by force, according to a community alert from Chicago police.
A robbery took place between 2 a.m. and 4 a.m. June 25 in the 5300 block of South Hermitage Avenue, police said. The suspects are described as two 18 to 19-year-old men.
The second robbery happened at 11:18 a.m. June 27 in the 1800 block of West 52nd Street, police said. In this incident, police are looking for four men between the ages of 20 and 25.
