Paige Turley jokes she’s hiding Finley Tapp’s passport after Love Island twist

Paige Turley has joked she's hiding boyfriend Finley Tapp's passport after the latest Love Island twist.

For the first time ever, the new bombshell entering the villa is a familiar face, in the shape of season four controversial contestant Adam Collard. The 26-year-old is back, and has wasted no time as a sneak preview showed him grafting on Paige, Danica and Ekin-Su during his first day in the villa.

Paige, who won the sixth series of Love Island with beau Finn Tapp in 2020, took to Instagram after the shocking announcement. Sharing a video of her looking concerned, the 24-year-old joked she was going to hide Finley's passport so he couldn't head into the villa.

Both Paige and Finley have opened up about struggling to be taken seriously in their careers after appearing on Love Island. She told BBC One More Tune's Kerr Okan that she has found it hard to develop as a musical artist since leaving the ITV reality show, despite her huge platform.

She said: "I think a lot of people thought that coming from the show would be this huge advantage because I've got a platform and people that follow me. But if anything it's more difficult I've found. It's a bit of a double-edged sword.

"I've got this platform but people don't know me for music so it's been challenging but hopefully in the long run it pays off. A lot of the audience that are there just now want to see what you're wearing, they want to see how you're styling your hair.

"So if you put on anything music-related they don't know you or follow you for that. It's then trying to find additional fans that are there for the music as well as what I wear my hair like or what I wear my clothes like."

Prior to appearing on Love Island, Finley had progressed through the academy at MK Dons and made his professional debut aged 17 in the EFL Trophy in 2016. However, he now worries he will never play football professionally again.

Speaking to The Sun, he explained: "I played football when I was knee-high and I was fortunate enough to join MK Dons. I worked my way through the academy, and as you progress the dream of becoming a footballer becomes that much more real.

"Then I managed to get a scholarship, which meant I was part of the youth team - and was in a full-time environment where I was doing a bit of college work on the side.

"In 2018, I signed my first professional contract with the club. It was the best time ever, and everything I was hoping for. But when I got released a year after that and I was devastated."

Love Island airs every night at 9pm on ITV.
