Paddy Pimblett has Twitter account suspended just hours before UFC London bout

The Twitter account of UFC star Paddy Pimblett has been suspended - just hours before he appears at UFC London for his fight with American Jordan Leavitt.

Pimblett, who goes by the fight name 'The Baddy', is a regular user of social media, especially Twitter, and also has his own YouTube channel where he uploads behind-the-scenes vlogs and other insight into his life.

But ahead of his third fight in the UFC, the fighter has now seen his account suspended by the social media giants Twitter. It is unknown what Pimblett has done to cause his account to be suspended, though, it isn't the first time he has found himself targeted by social media companies.

Ahead of his fight against Rodrigo Vargas at the last UFC London event in March, The Baddy called out Facebook creator Mark Zuckerberg.

"I am sick of you," said an angered Pimblett post-fight. "I'm sick of you shutting my Instagram accounts down when all I do is help charities and help people with mental health problems.

"I’ve got to be a lot smarter on my social media, because as you know, I’ve had two accounts took off me now, and the second account had 120,000 followers."

The cage star, who grew up in Huyton, has won both of his previous UFC bouts by submission and will be hoping to add a third triumph to his name on Saturday evening as he returns to the cage.

Coverage of tonight's event will begin at 6 pm on BT Sport 1 - and you can follow all the action HERE in our live blog.
