
A 20-year-old man has been rushed to hospital after a stabbing in west London.
Police officers closed streets near Edgware Road after being called to Hall Place at 5.20pm on Wednesday to reports of a stabbing.
A Met Police spokesman initially said the 20-year-old man was treated at scene and taken to hospital with “potentially life-threatening” injuries but later said his life was not in danger.
They added that following the incident a Section 60 Order, which allows officers to stop and search people without suspicion, was authorised covering the boroughs of Westminster and Kensington and Chelsea.
UPDATE - The victim's injuries have been assessed in hospital as not life-threatening.

Police continue to appeal for witnesses to call 101 with info re CAD 5342/27 Jan.
No arrests have been made and anyone with information is asked to call 101 ref CAD 5342/27 Jan.
