Owen Warner overwhelmed by Christmas present from I'm A Celeb pal Jill Scott

They forged a bond on the latest series of I'm a Celebrity.. Get Me Out of Here, and their friendship seems to have continued outside of the jungle as Owen Warner shared his delight at receiving a special Christmas gift from Jill Scott.

The Hollyoaks actor is a Leicester City fan was given a signed England shirt by Jill which featured Leicester midfielder James Maddison's name on the back. Owen rushed to his Instagram story to tell his 537,000 followers all about it, The Mirror reports.

Speaking in the video, he said as he filmed the shirt: "Look at that. How unreal is that? Jill has smashed it." He was seen walking as he called out to his mum as he opened the door.

He said: "I just came to say bin all the presents you've got because Jill's won.

"You might as well just bin it," he said in the humorous video before the clip ends.

Writing on top of the video, Owen added: "@JillScitjs8 won Christmas, can't believe she bagged this for me".

Queen of the Jungle, Jill previously reminisced with fellow contestant Charlene White about their experience in the jungle and described as a 'beautiful' moment, was 'edited out' of the show, and featured Jill and Owen. Charlene said: "There were so many bits that weren't shown but I think one of the most beautiful moments of us as campmates was when you and Owen created the jungle 11. You gave us all our positions on the football field and what was amazing was that Jill and Owen made football shirts out of origami with the bags that our rice and beans came in."

Charlene continued: "We all had our own little shirts with our names on them that you made using charcoal from the fire with our numbers on them and it was that attention to detail that gave us a great camp experience which was amazing."

Remembering the moment, Jill replied: "When I realised there were 11 in camp straight away I was like, 'We've got a football team'. We gave all the campmates their own little shirt."
