'Owe them one' - Liverpool fans react after Nottingham Forest seal dream FA Cup date

Liverpool fans are relishing their trip to face Nottingham Forest in the FA Cup quarter-final later this month after Steve Cooper's side beat Huddersfield tonight.

The Terriers had taken the lead through Tom Lees, but goals from Sam Surridge and man of the match Ryan Yates earned Forest a 2-1 victory.

And that means they will now face Jurgen Klopp's side on Sunday, March 20 with the game being screened live by ITV with a kick-off time of 6pm.

Liverpool fans have quickly taken to social media to give their views after Forest's success and here's what they had to say.

Mike Keel: "Well done Forest #nffc Gonna be some game that."

Anthony: "Forest away then it is. Love them singing about us Scousers. Hope we absolutely ruin them."

Marcus Boocock: "Forest it is in the quarters then. Loving some of their fans chanting about them coming for us and going to Wembley. Let’s see, shall we?"

EssinemLFC: "Never forget that Teddy Sheringham goal for Forest, in the first-ever game on Sky. We own them one."

Nick: "Gutted I'm away for the Forest Cup game. Used to love going city ground back in the day. Be a proper cup tie!"
