Crazy Raccoon have been one of the most consistent teams in the world for years. They come with an EWC Overwatch title already from 2024 and the 2026 Champions Clash trophy, widely viewed as one of the favorites.
ZETA have dominated the Asian circuit in 2026, winning OWCS Korea Stage 1, OWCS Korea Stage 2, and OWCS Asia Stage 1 Championship. As the defending Midseason champions, Falcons lost star DPS duo Proper and Stalk3r.
Format and prize pool
The 16 teams are split into two groups of eight. Each group runs a double-elimination bracket, and all group matches are best-of-three. The top four teams from each group advance to the Playoffs.
In the Playoffs, eight teams move into a single-elimination bracket. All matches except the Grand Final are best-of-five. The Grand Final is a longer best-of-seven series.
Coming to the hero ban system:
- Each team bans one hero per map
- Bans must be from different roles than the opponent’s ban on that map
- A team can’t ban the same hero twice in the same series, but can mirror the opponent’s ban
- The higher-seeded team bans first; after that, the team that lost the previous map bans first
