Over 21 Covid-19 symptoms double-vaccinated Scots should be aware of

People who have had both Covid vaccine jabs should still be alert over 21 symptoms a recent study has revealed.

Experts are warning people to stag vigilant and take care even if they have been double-vaccinated because they could still be hit by 21 Covid signs.

The latest ZOE Covid-19 Symptom Study app shows the signs and symptoms double-jabbed and fully vaccinated Brits are still experiencing if they contract the virus.

Professor Tim Spector, from the study, says the symptoms are not on the official NHS Covid list.

Anybody with one or more of the symptoms is 12 times more likely to test positive for the deadly bug, he warned.

The symptoms double-vaccinated individuals may experience if they have Covid are:

  • High temperature
  • Chills or shivers
  • Persistent cough
  • Loss or change of smell
  • Loss or change of taste
  • Headache
  • Unusual tiredness
  • Sore throat
  • Sudden confusion
  • Skin rash
  • Changes in mouth or tongue
  • Red and sore fingers or toes
  • Shortness of breath
  • Chest pains
  • Muscle pains
  • Hoarse voice
  • Diarrhoea
  • Skipped meals
  • Abdominal pains
  • Runny nose

  • Sneezing

As of today, August 16, 4,058,482 people in Scotland have received their first dose of the Covid vaccination and 3,467,817 have received their second dose.
