'Outmuscled' - Bristol Rovers player ratings following loss to AFC Wimbledon

Anssi Jaakkola - 6

After a quiet first 45 minutes he was called into action several times in the second period. The Finn was unlucky to concede the equaliser, making a good save to deny Pigott before Forss tapped in to equaliser.

Rollin Menayese - 5

Had a really tough second half thanks to the rough and tough Joe Pigott. Was outmuscled halfway by the targetman in the build-up to the Dons' second goal.

Tony Craig (c) - 5

Had a difficult first half, being booked after being skinned a couple of times by Forss. Better after the break.

Alfie Kilgour - 6

Made some key interventions in his own box, reading crosses well and clearing the ball with authority. The goals didn't come down his side.

Alex Rodman - 5

Had a quiet game. Didn't pose much of a threat going forwards, and Nesta Guinness-Walker got in behind him for the Dons' equaliser.

Luke Leahy - 6

Didn't make much of an impact in possession, though he thought he had assisted Rovers' opener before it was ruled out for a foul. Could do nothing about the goals.

Abu Ogogo - 6

Was bright and busy in the first half, but his impact faded – like the Gas – the second half.

Ed Upson - 7

Played well. Was good in possession and showed off his range of passing with a beautiful clipped pass to Clarke-Harris which could have led to a goal.

Liam Sercombe - 7

Was lively in the first period, and was cruelly denied a brilliant goal by a belated whistle from the referee. Very little impact after the break.

Tom Nichols - 6

Could have had a couple of goals in the first half, shooting just wide of both posts. Gave it his all as usual, but little to show for it after the break.

Jonson Clarke-Harris - 7

Held the ball up well and scored a nerveless penalty. Sorely missed when removed after 66 minutes.

Subs

Victor Adeboyejo (for Jonson Clarke-Harris, 66) - 5

Made a bizarre decision to cross after being played in by Upson when shooting had to be the only option.

Tyler Smith (for Tom Nichols, 77) - 5

Was brought on to made an impact with Rovers level, but barely got a touch of the ball.

Kyle Bennett (for Abu Ogogo, 87) - 6

Given little chance to influence the game, but had a header blocked in added time.

Not used: Jordi van Stappershoef, Michael Kelly, Lucas Tomlinson, Cameron Hargreaves.
