An out-of-control car went airborne over a busy junction and careened into scaffolding in New York, injuring an elderly driver.
Footage shows an SUV hitting an island and flying through the air, before ploughing into a building under renovation in White Plains on 9 March.
The vehicle came within feet of hitting three people who were standing on the pedestrian island at the time.
The driver, an 80-year-old man, was removed from the vehicle conscious and alert. He was taken to a local hospital with minor injuries. No other injuries were reported.
