Thousands of people across Merseyside are waking up to freezing temperatures and snowfall that's properly stuck. The blizzarding conditions are causing serious disruption with a number of schools closed and all Merseyrail services cancelled.
It follows yesterday's visit from Michael Gove MP. The former education secretary, now Levelling Up secretary, was visiting St Helens and our political editor Liam Thorp was there too.

Suites Hotel violent scenes 'unacceptable,' says Gove
Michael Gove slammed the scenes outside the Suites Hotel, which housed asylum seekers, in February but defended the "Stop the Boats" illegal migration bill.
Speaking about the scenes in Kirkby, the Conservative MP said: "Those scenes were absolutely disgusting, there are far right organisations that are attempting to stir up discontent and we've got to crack down on them, these people engaging in criminal activity, it is unacceptable." Dad relives awful night his son was murdered
The father of Mikey Rainsford, shot dead in his own kitchen by a man hidden in his garden, said it was "just a normal night watching the tele" before the family's life changed forever.
Dad Michael snr told reporter Ben Roberts-Haslam Mikey was getting "biscuits and drinks" from the kitchen for a "little picnic" with his girlfriend before his son was shot twice through the kitchen window.
Klopp themed bar to be built
A distinct bar and hotel that is set to be built in the shadow of Anfield Stadium. Developers have recieved planning permission to redevelop a corner of Oakfield Road, just metres away from the stadium, into a six room hotel and bar called Klopp's Boot Room bar and Guest House.
