This afternoon we published the heartbreaking story of a mum who made decision that is every parent's worst nightmare, and turn off her baby daughter's life support a week after she was born. Freya Keeton was born asphyxiated and was clinically dead for 23 minutes before being revived.
Her mum Rachel's pregnancy had been without issue and the family didn't think "anything like this would happen to them." Freya had no quality of life, she told the ECHO, and passed away in her mum and dad's arms.

Schoolgirl, 12, arrested after 'despicable' attack filmed
A 12-year-old girl has been arrested after a schoolgirl was attacked in Kirkby. Earlier this week we reported that video footage of an assault at Old Rough Park in Kirkby on Saturday.
It was alleged a 12-year-old victim was in the park when a large group of children approached her and attacked her. The victim suffered bruising and swelling to her face and was left very shocked and distressed by the incident.
Passengers injured after BMW crashed into Stagecoach bus
Four people have been hurt after a crash in Birkenhead, when a blue BMW crashed into a Stagecoach bus. Hinderton Road was closed in both directions after the incident, as the vehicles blocked the road between B5147 Argyle Street South and Holt Hill.
Drug boss got girlfriend to bring her mate into cocaine ring
A member of a drug gang that flooded Wales with cocaine from Merseyside was jailed alongside other members of the gang after getting his girlfriend to recruit her friend to courier drugs. Ryan Hope, who played an "organisational; role" in the gang, was jailed for 11 years and four months.
