It might just be Oti Mabuse’s year. The Strictly Come Dancing professional was recently announced as the newest judge on Dancing on Ice and now she will be the host of a new musical dating show called Romeo and Duet.
The seven-part dating series will air on prime-time TV later in 2022.
Applications are open to everyone but having a good singing voice is key. SRO Audiences are also currently offering tickets to have a place in the audience.

What to expect from Romeo & Duet
The premise for the show is one singleton stands on a balcony, while someone else tries to serenade them with a love song. They will not see each other’s faces unless the person on the balcony is interested enough to come down.
They then have to go away on a duet date, where they will pick up a duet and return to the studio to compete with other couples in order to be crowned as winners. The prize is unclear for now.
