Washington, on the other hand, struggled to maintain their lead after a promising start. Jordan Poole contributed 26 points for the Wizards, but it wasn't enough to secure a victory. The team's losing streak now stands at 16 games, tying a franchise record set back in the 2009-10 season.

Orlando's remarkable comeback was fueled by a stellar second-half performance, with Banchero's 10 assists playing a crucial role in orchestrating the team's offense. Moritz Wagner also made a significant impact, scoring 16 points, including 14 in the fourth quarter, to help seal the victory for the Magic.

The win marked the largest comeback of the season for Orlando, who last overcame a 21-point deficit on January 30, 2023. The Magic's resilience harkened back to a memorable comeback in 2014 when they erased a 23-point deficit to secure a victory against Charlotte.

Looking ahead, the Magic will face off against the New York Knicks on Friday night, while the Wizards are set to host the Charlotte Hornets in their next game. Both teams will aim to build on their performances and continue their pursuit of success in the NBA.
