Only tea-loving geniuses can spot hidden sugar cubes in image within 46 seconds

To celebrate National Tea Day today, brew sippers are challenged to crack this tricky brain teaser as new research reveals exactly how Brits like to take their tea.

The challenge is to find the hidden sugar cubes within the image - and you need to spot them in under 46 seconds to prove you're super brainy.

Rainbow Riches Casino has published a study revealing the nation's tea habits, as around 228 million cups of tea are enjoyed each day.

According to the report, those in Liverpool drink the most, averaging nearly four brews every day - that's a whole lot of tea drinking.

According to the research, the perfect order to make a brew is teabag first, hot water second, and milk last but not least.

Those in Newcastle have the sweetest tooth when it comes to their tea, as residents are the most likely to put in SIX or more sugars per cup.

And it's thought that each UK tea drinker drinks around 99,000 cups in their lifetime.

Speaking of sugar, a classic digestive biscuit has been crowned as the nation's favourite biscuit to dunk, gaining over a third of the votes.

According to research, the average Brit consumes 3.4 cups of tea each day, but those in Liverpool drink the most, averaging 3.9 cups daily.

That works out at around 1.9 million brews in this city each day.

Londoners are avid tea lovers too though, with over a quarter (27%) of residents consuming three cups of tea per day.

On the other hand, Edinburgh and Sheffield are the UK cities with the lowest tea consumption, with around one-fifth of residents drinking just one cuppa a day.

And when it comes to brewing time, the survey results show over a quarter (27%) of respondents leave their tea bag in the water for just 15–30 seconds.
