A man died and three others were injured after three cars and a truck collided in a devastating morning crash on the Princes Highway.
About 6.15am on Monday, July 13, emergency services were called to the Princes Highway, just south of Cobargo, near Quinlans Road, following reports of a crash.
On arrival, South Coast Police District officers found that three cars and a truck had collided.
The male driver of one of the vehicles died at the scene and was yet to be formally identified.
Paramedics treated three people who suffered injuries in the crash, before all three drivers were taken to South East Regional Hospital for mandatory testing.
It was believed a woman in her 70s suffered cuts to her legs, a man in his 80s had a possible chest injury, and a man in his 60s who was driving the truck had chest and rib pain with a possible punctured lung, broken ribs and a broken nose.
Police have begun investigating the cause of the crash.

The Princes Highway, just south of Cobargo was closed in both directions and local diversions were in place, but the road reopened at 5pm.
A report will be prepared for the coroner.
