Oman announced on Sunday the lifting of all measures that had been taken to prevent the spread of COVID-19, in all venues and for all activities, state TV reported, citing a statement from the government committee dealing with the pandemic.
"All precautionary measures against COVID-19 in all public places and business outlets have ended," said the statement.
“In the event someone experiences fever or any morbid respiratory symptoms, he/she is advised to stay at home … and wear a face mask when mingling with people,” it said.
“All individuals—particularly the old-aged, people suffering from chronic diseases or immunodeficiency—are urged to stick to wearing the face mask in closed areas,” the statement added.
