Olivia Wilde accuses Jason Sudeikis of trying to put her 'into debt' with custody battle

Olivia Wilde has claimed her ex-partner Jason Sudeikis is trying to "litigate her into debt" in their ongoing custody battle over their two children.

The former couple appeared in court on Friday for a custody hearing as their bitter legal battle over their children - Otis, eight, and Daisy, six - continues.

Jason, 47, had requested to move the case to New York, with Olivia arguing the matter had already been settled and the hearing should instead be in Los Angeles.

A judge ultimately agreed with the 39-year-old actress and ruled that the case should remain in California.

In new court documents, Olivia's lawyers said: "While Jason can afford to spin his wheels with filing after filing, Olivia cannot."

The papers, which were obtained by the Daily Mail, continued: "Jason seems intent on throwing whatever he can against the wall to see what will stick, and this Request for Order seeking a stay of the California Parentage action is just the latest example."

In the court documents, Olivia also accused him of Jason of being "underhanded" and acting "in bad faith" over the future of their two children.

Jason had filed a fresh motion to halt a California order which ruled that their kids should live in California, giving him time to file an appeal in New York.

Olivia said the children are already living in California and that there is no reason for them to move.

She noted that her daughter Daisy had never attended school in New York and her son Otis only attended one semester of kindergarten in New York back in 2019.

In the documents, Olivia said she had thought they were moving forward toward an amicable resolution until Jason allegedly "blindsided" her.

She said they were scheduled to start working with a family therapist in California, but then she learnt that her ex-partner was "plotting to proceed with the New York Child Support proceeding behind my back."

Back in January, Jason and Olivia had seemed to improve their relationship as they were photographed embracing one another.

After hugging each other, Jason flashed Olivia the peace symbol before they went their separate ways.
