Olivia Rodrigo’s GUTS Tour is coming to the UK: here’s how to get tickets

Fresh from the release of her pop-punk inspired second album GUTS, US pop star Olivia Rodrigo has revealed hotly-anticipated plans for a world tour – including not one, but two, nights in London at The O2.

The entire tour kicks off on February 23 in the US, with a date in Palm Springs, California. The singer will tour the States until the end of April, before the European leg of the tour commences from May 3. Her UK stint currently wraps up with a pair of dates in the capital’s The O2 Arena, on May 14 and 15.

Rodrigo plays the following UK and Ireland dates:

APRIL

30 Dublin, 3Arena

MAY

03 Manchester, Co Op Live

07 Glasgow, OVO Hydro

10 Birmingham, Utilita Arena

14 London, O2 Arena

15 London, O2 Arena

The tour will then continue to mainland Europe, with shows in Belgium, the Netherlands, Germany, Italy, France, Spain, and finally Portugal, before returning for a second lap of the US.

Eagle eyed readers will notice a handful of gaps in Rodrigo’s UK tour schedule, leaving plenty of room for additional surprise dates to spring up when demand is inevitably high. And indeed: “stay tuned for more dates coming soon!!!” the singer has hinted.

Rodrigo last performed live in the UK last summer, playing a headline show at the capital’s Eventim Apollo, and appearing on Glastonbury’s Pyramid Stage for her debut at the festival. During the latter, she invited on none other than Lily Allen as a surprise guest; the pair performed Allen’s hit F**k You and dedicated it to the Supreme Court following their decision to overturn Roe Vs. Wade and constitutional abortion rights in the US.

How do I get tickets for Olivia Rodrigo’s GUTS tour?

If you’d like to buy tickets in the ongoing sale – which is open now – you needed to register for access last week using Ticketmaster’s Verified Fan system.

Successfully signed-up fans were then entered into a random ballot, with some of them getting access to a code on September 20. These randomly allocated codes grant them access to a pre-sale on September 21.

“Registration helps block bots, reduces resale and gets more tickets directly into the hands of fans who want to attend the show,” explains a statement on Rodrigo’s website. “Registration does not, however, guarantee that every fan will get access to the sale. We expect there will be more demand than there are tickets available. A limited number of randomly selected fans will get access to the sale, and others will be put on the waitlist. Getting access to the sale doesn’t guarantee tickets. Tickets will be available on a first-come, first-served basis.”

What happens if I didn’t get a Verified Fans code?

If you didn’t get a code, fear not – hope is not completely lost. Remaining registered fans who signed up as a Verified Fan will be placed on a waitlist. If any tickets remain from the sale, fans on this waitlist could receive a last minute code, so keep an eye on those emails.

Elsewhere, some fans are reporting issues accessing the sale, despite receiving a code. "I have a code for Olivia Rodrigo and it won’t let me join the waiting room," wrote one fan on X. "I've been sent a presale code for Olivia Rodrigo but every time I go through the email I’m being told the sale is for invited fans only,” added another.

Others seemed more happy with the experience of trying for tickets, reporting a fairly seamless experience in comparison to other sales.

Post sale, it’s also worth keeping an eye on Ticketmaster’s official resale platform.
