The mother-of-one, 71, who is battling cancer for the third time, was joined by her gorgeous daughter Chloe Lattanzi, 31, during the interview where they discussed Chloe overcoming drug addiction, depression, anorexia and body dysmorphia.

During the chat Chloe, who is Olivia shares with actor Matt Lattanzi, credited her current stint on Dancing With The Stars for giving her a "rebirth" and her mum praised her for being "ambitious."

Chloe, who hopes her appearance on the dancing show will inspire others who have suffered from mental or physical illness, told: "I am having the time of my life, it's like a rebirth."

Speaking about Chloe taking to the floor on the Australian series with professional Gustavo Viglio, Olivia added: "You just have a natural beauty and grace that is just so wonderful to watch, it just makes me well up."

Olivia was diagnosed with breast cancer in 2017, five years after her secret second battle with cancer and two decades after she first overcame the disease in 1992.

She has called for medical cannabis to be offered to all cancer patients as she says it has shrunk her tumours.

The actress and singer previously said: “My tumours are receding or they’re going away or they’re staying the same. On a stage four metastatic breast cancer that’s pretty amazing. I don’t see it as a battle. I am winning.”

She added: “For me the proof is in the pudding and I’m the pudding.

“If I hadn’t had the experience I’m having with cannabis I wouldn’t be able to talk about it.”

Olivia's Cancer & Wellness Centre in her native Australia is launching trials of cannabis as a medicine. She has also lobbied the government there to approve its use.
