Ole Gunnar Solskjaer sends Man Utd fans message over Paul Pogba transfer rumours

Manchester United boss Ole Gunnar Solskjaer has hailed "fantastic" Paul Pogba - and backed him to avoid any distractions as they head to the Nou Camp on Tuesday.

Pogba has been heavily linked with a move to Barcelona's arch rivals Real Madrid in the summer and admitted it would be a "dream" switch.

But Solskjaer has assured fans he has no concerns he will retain his focus on the task at hand as United eye an unlikely Champions League comeback.

The Red Devils head to Spain trailing 1-0 after the first leg and aiming to repeat their heroic last-16 win over Paris Saint-Germain, which Pogba missed through suspension.

Solskjaer said: "At the moment, Paul’s focus is on tomorrow night and I have no doubt he’ll play and perform for Man Utd as he’s done so far.

"He’s been fantastic."

Pogba was United's match winner at the weekend as he slotted home two penalties in a 2-1 win over West Ham at Old Trafford.

They'll need him to be at his best again at the Nou Camp if they are to stun the La Liga champions in waiting.

And Solskjaer has urged his players to have belief in their ability to cause another upset.

"Belief is massive," he said.

"Everyone’s got talent and a certain ability. We’ve seen against PSG we have the ability to come back against a massive team.

" Barcelona historically is the best but if we give our all, get that better concentration - we slept for a second, even though they had a lot of the ball - so that concentration is key."
