Former Manchester United manager Ole Gunnar Solskjaer is the favourite to become the next Norway national team manager, just days after his dismissal at Old Trafford.
The Norwegian coach was in charge for three years, guiding them to a Europa League final and a second-placed finish in the league last season.
However, after a summer of investment into the playing squad, United slipped to eighth in the Premier League and the former striker was relieved of his duties.
His return into management could be sooner rather than later, with Betfair currently having the manager as evens to become the next Norway men’s national team coach.
Norway, who are currently managed by Stale Solbakken, narrowly missed out on qualification for the 2022 Qatar World Cup, losing to Netherlands in the final match which ensured they finished third in the group.
The bookmakers also think a return to former employers Molde could be on the cards for Solskjaer. They were the side that he joined United from and they currently sit second in the Norwegian Eliteserien, behind table toppers and champions Bodo/Glimt.
Third on the list is another return, with former club Cardiff City. The manager had a spell in the Welsh capital in 2014, but after relegation to the Championship and a rocky start to the following campaign, he left.
The Bluebirds are currently without a manager following the dismissal of Mick McCarthy. Ex-player Steve Morrison has taken charge for the rest of the season.
Sunderland are next on the list, with the club currently sitting sixth in League One, while Premier League sides Burnley and Norwich also feature.
Rounding out the list are Inter Miami, currently owned by David Beckham with former United teammate Phil Neville at the helm as manager.
