Ohio State to match up with Penn State in Big Ten Tournament

The waiting game is over.

The No. 6 seeded Ohio State basketball team will be facing the Penn State Nittany Lions on Thursday night in the second round of the Big Ten Tournament. The No. 11 seeded Nittany Lions advanced on Wednesday night courtesy of a 60-51 victory over No. 14 seed Minnesota.

The Buckeyes faced Penn State twice this season, winning both matchups, but it won’t be easy. Ohio State beat the Nittany Lions handily at their place but the game was much tighter in a 61-56 result in the Schottenstein Center. Penn State will be coming in with a lot of momentum after winning on Wednesday night.

The game is set to tip-off around 9:00 p.m. EST depending on how the other games ahead of the matchup finish. The Big Ten Network has the broadcast.

Let the madness begin for the scarlet and gray.
