Ohio State’s Kollin Moore recognized as Big Ten Co-Wrestler of the Week

For the second time in his career, Kollin Moore has been named the Big Ten’s Wrestler of the Week. This time he shared the honor with Iowa’s Alex Marinelli after he took out two ranked opponents this week.

First Moore took down Purdue’s No. 9 ranked Christian Brunner Friday in a 12-5 decision, then followed that performance up with a 7-5 sudden victory Sunday against No. 11 ranked Eric Schultz of Nebraska.

With the two victories, Moore improved his overall record to 15-1 and remains ranked at No. 2 in the 197 lb. weight class. He was last recognized as the Big Ten Wrestler of the Week back on December 5, 2017.
