Out of sight out of mind somewhat I guess. Ohio State and the rest of its Big Ten brethren have yet to play a game on the season while the other Power Five conferences have now started action, and it some cases have played more than one game.
So now that media members have seen Clemson, Alabama, and the rest of the SEC, Big 12, and ACC play, it appears as though it has caught the eye of those at ESPN and the panelist of those that make predictions for the College Football Playoff.
Ohio State, it seems, is fading in its place among the minds of media members.
Now, before you get all bent out of shape, the good news is that all of them still picked Ohio State to make into all the fun as one of the four final teams. However, what’s different is that Alabama has picked up steam for being one of the two best teams. While last week had 6 out of 13 picking the Buckeyes as the second-best team, that has now gone down to just one out of the 13. And yeah, the Tide are the benefactor in the swing vote, picking up all but Chris Low’s vote. He is the lone wolf that still has OSU at No. 2.
Florida jumped into the top 5, but it was another SEC team who went from unranked to No. 8 in @ClowESPN's Power Rankings.

As far as other teams receiving votes, Florida is next with 11 out 13 writers picking the Gators to make the College Football Playoff. Miami got the nod from just two of ESPN’s writers.
