Ohio State basketball’s freshman class is now on campus and beginning workouts

They are finally here.

After all the hype and pomp and circumstance surrounding the Buckeyes’ outstanding recruiting class, the four freshman have arrived on campus and have begun summer workouts. That class — ranked No. 13 in the country and first in the Big Ten according to 247Sports — includes the No. 33 (D.J. Carton), No. 42 (E.J. Liddell), No. 47 (Alonzon Gaffney), and 7-footer Ibrahima Diallo.

The official Twitter feed of Ohio State basketball released a video of the incoming class going through workouts and getting acclimated to officially being Buckeyes.

With what OSU has coming back, and with the insertion of these four players, the Buckeyes look to have a lot of interchangeable parts and some considerable depth at multiple positions. It sure looks like the Scarlet and Gray should make some noise this winter, but we’ll have to see how everyone gels as the season unfolds.

Get a look at the team going through these workouts and putting the sweat equity in to become a big part of things for the 2019-2020 season.
